Position Overview
- To maintain and update payroll records in payroll system such as Smart Payroll, IPayroll, Cloud Payroll, Xero, Crystal and Pay Hero
- Recording and payments of expense claims. Handle employee advances recording.
- Maintain annual leave records. Responsible for payroll journal entries.
- Ensure accuracy and on time pay.
- Front liner of all payroll related queries and keeping employees informed for any updates and announcement.
- To complete compliance, reporting and clerical duties
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Passionate about payroll
- Payroll and bookkeeping qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years payroll/bookkeeping experience, preferable with SME’s
- Very good written and oral English communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to perform in a paperless environment
- Strong time management
Preferred
- BPO experience
- Experience working with New Zealand or Australian SME’s
- New Zealand or Australian payroll knowledge
- Xero Payroll certified
- Experience with accounting software – Xero, Smart Payroll, Ipayroll, Cloud Payroll, Pay Hero
- Experience working remotely for offshore clients
